Louis V. Gaglini, President
Lou Gaglini is the President of New England Recruiting Services and specializes in Full-Cycle Recruiting & Placement at all levels and within all industries, Interviewer Training for HR professionals and hiring managers, College Recruiting Programs, Recruitment Process Improvement, and all phases of Talent Acquisition Consulting. Lou has more than 15 years of experience in staffing, employment, and human resources with proven expertise in strategy, design and delivery of programs of all sizes. His career began at Northeastern University as an Assistant Professor & Coordinator of Cooperative Education, managing programs within the College of Business Administration. His corporate experience includes five years with the international professional services firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP, as the Director of Recruiting in the Boston office and in a subsequent two-year assignment as National Manager of Campus Recruiting in its Worldwide Headquarters. Lou has also served as a Senior Consultant and Human Resources Manager with Polaroid Corporation, redesigning and launching new recruiting programs and other talent acquisition initiatives. Most recently, Lou has consulted in career coaching and delivery of career advancement workshops with regional Career Management service firms and in recruitment process restructuring within small to mid-sized corporate environments. He and one of his executive job search candidates were chronicled in a Boston Globe “Job Diary” series featured in BostonWorks during the summer of 2003. Lou has served on the Corporate Advisory Board of hotU, Inc., based in Honolulu, the Advisory Team of Zip Celebrity, Inc. in Boston, and the Industrial Advisory Group of the Minority Engineering Program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is an active member of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), chairing and serving on committees addressing employment and staffing issues, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as an incoming Board Member for the Association of Employment Professionals (AOEP). He also conducts professional development training and speaks regularly on contemporary recruiting topics. Lou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University and a Masters in Public Administration from Northeastern University.
